Bantwal, Aug 20: A private bus rammed into a school bus carrying students near Mallikatte in Punacha on Wednesday August 20.

According to reports, the school bus was transporting students from Punacha towards Puttur when a private bus coming from behind collided with it at the Mallikatte curve.

The impact left the front portion of the private bus badly damaged, and several passengers sustained minor injuries.

Fortunately, as no students were seated in the rear section of the school bus at the time of the crash, they escaped unhurt.
