New Delhi, Aug 21: Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer War 2, one of the most-awaited films of the year, has failed to meet box office expectations since its release last week.

Amid the underwhelming run, rumours surfaced that Naga Vamsi, who distributed the Telugu version of the film, was quitting the industry. Addressing the speculation, Vamsi posted in Telugu on X, saying, “Sorry to disappoint you all, but that time hasn’t come yet. At least 10-15 years remain. At the cinemas… for the cinema, always! See you all with our next outing #MassJathara very soon.”

Backed by Yash Raj Films with a reported budget of Rs 300-400 crore, War 2 features Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana in lead roles.
