Mumbai, Aug 22: James Gunn’s much-talked-about superhero extravaganza Superman, which released in Indian theatres on July 11, 2025, is all set for its OTT premiere. The film, led by David Corenswet as the Man of Steel, will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video and BookMyShow from August 26, 2025. However, viewers will have to rent the movie to watch it online. It will be available in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

The film has been widely praised for Gunn’s direction, blending high-stakes superhero action with an emotional storyline. The plot follows Clark Kent grappling with deep trust issues while defending Earth against his most formidable foe, Lex Luthor, portrayed by Nicholas Hoult. Luthor, a tech genius and manipulative villain, finally manages to bring Superman to his knees, setting the stage for an epic showdown.

The star-studded cast also features Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, with supporting performances by Bradley Cooper, Alan Tudyk, Grace Chan, Angela Sarafyan, and Michael Rooker. Gunn, who previously helmed Peacemaker and Guardians of the Galaxy, brings his signature style of action, wit, and emotional depth to the DC universe.

Superman has already been embraced by fans and critics worldwide, earning a solid 7.9/10 on IMDb. With its OTT debut just days away, anticipation is high among audiences eager to rewatch or experience the superhero spectacle for the first time from the comfort of their homes.
