Mumbai, Aug 26: They may have had their share of differences, but brotherly love prevailed as singer Armaan Malik turned cheerleader for his elder brother and music composer Amaal Mallik, who entered the Bigg Boss 19 house as one of the 16 contestants.

Soon after Amaal’s entry on the premiere night, his team shared pictures from the grand launch, writing on X, “All dressed, all ready, and officially inside the Bigg Boss 19 house.” Responding to the post, Armaan Malik encouraged his brother with a warm message: “Jeet ke aana Sher Khan.

Break a leg! (just not literally).”

Interacting with fans online, Armaan admitted he wasn’t entirely supportive of Amaal joining the reality show but chose to stand by him. “Obviously was never for it, but ab Amaal bhai sahab ko kaun samjhaye. Anyway, boarding school samajhke kuch masti karke aajaye wapas.

Bahut gaane pending hai (Obviously was never for it, but who can say anything to big brother Amaal. Anyway, hope he enjoys it like a boarding school and comes back soon. Many songs are pending),” he said.

Armaan added that he was watching Bigg Boss 19 “just to see what masti Amaal’s up to.”

During the premiere, Amaal Mallik also opened up to host Salman Khan about his personal battles, candidly revealing his mental health struggles. “I recently put up a post, and people wondered why I did that. Even mom and dad felt that,” he said, before explaining, “That I am depressed.”

As the new season progresses, viewers will see how Amaal navigates the high-voltage Bigg Boss house, which often draws headlines for its drama and controversies.
