Udupi, Aug 28: Adarsha Hospital, Udupi, inaugurated the outpatient clinic of its new cardiologist, Dr Suhas G C, in a ceremony held at the hospital premises. The event was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Sri Sri Vishwapriya Tirtha Swamiji of Adamaru Math.

Speaking on the occasion, the Swamiji said, “May Adarsha Hospital create an environment where patients themselves seek out Dr Suhas for treatment. A doctor must first show patience when dealing with patients, as half the illness is cured through the doctor’s calm approach. Just as Lord Rama is considered the ideal man because of his conduct and values, Dr Suhas too should imbibe patience and carry forward his practice with the same principles.”

Welcoming the gathering, Dr G S Chandrashekar, medical director of Adarsha Hospital, said that the hospital has been providing cardiology services for over 15 years. “Not just cardiology, but every department here strives to provide quality treatment. The dream of further strengthening our cardiology department has now become a reality with the joining of Dr Suhas,” he added.

Dr Srikanth Krishna and Dr Vishu Kumar extended their best wishes to Dr Suhas.

The programme was attended by Adarsha Hospital’s CEO Vimala Chandrashekar, Dr Suhas G C, Dr Srikanth Krishna, Dr Vishu Kumar, Jayanna, Rachana, hospital staff, and others. The event was compered by Anushri Acharya, while Prakash D, deputy manager, proposed a vote of thanks.
