Mumbai, Aug 30: In yet another inspiring example of compassion and humanitarian service, SEAL Ashram has successfully reunited a young man from Jammu & Kashmir with his family after months of separation.
Sadam Hussain, who had gone missing from Mahore in Reasi district of J&K, was referred to SEAL Ashram by Nhava Sheva Police on June 16, 2025. Suffering from a mental health condition, he was provided with shelter, care, and treatment at the Ashram. After undergoing rehabilitation for over two months, Hussain was finally reunited with his father, Abbas Shah, bringing immense relief and joy to the family.

Dr Abraham Mathai, founder-chairman of the Harmony Foundation and chief patron of SEAL Ashram, lauded the institution’s selfless service. “SEAL Ashram is not just a place of rescue but of rebirth — a sanctuary where the destitute and abandoned are embraced with love, dignity, and care. It heals, restores, and reconnects people with their families, proving that humanity can indeed transform lives,” he said.
Calling the Ashram a “Mini India,” Dr Mathai highlighted how people from every corner of the country — from Kashmir to Kerala — are brought under its care, reflecting national integration and communal harmony in action.
Led by pastor K M Philip, SEAL Ashram has been consistently working to rescue, rehabilitate, and reunite lost and abandoned individuals, often described as a “silent revolution of compassion.”
Dr Mathai further remarked that the ripple effect of the Ashram’s efforts continues to spread “the fragrance of love, rehabilitation, and restoration” across the nation, setting a powerful example of social responsibility.
