iSocialGulf.com launches as social destination for Indians in Gulf

Media Release

Bahrain, Sep 5: A new digital initiative dedicated to the over 9-million-strong Indian diaspora in the Gulf officially goes live on Friday, September 5 with the launch of www.iSocialGulf.com – a unique community platform based out of Bahrain and licensed by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. The portal covers all six GCC countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Unlike conventional media websites, iSocialGulf.com is designed as a community hub, celebrating the vibrant activities, achievements and contributions of Indians across the Gulf region. From Indian associations and schools to cultural and professional organizations, the portal will serve as a showcase of community spirit and collective success.

Speaking on the launch, Sonia Prabhu, director of iSocialGulf.com, said: “Our mission is simple yet powerful – to connect, inform, and empower the Indian community in the Gulf. This is not about news; it is about people. By highlighting the outstanding work of our associations, schools and organizations, we aim to foster a sense of belonging and pride among the Indian diaspora. Together with our technology partner, Teedot Creative, we will build iSocialGulf.com step by step into a genuine digital hub where every Indian in the Gulf feels at home.”

The portal will initially highlight key events and community activities, with plans to expand into a dynamic social space featuring stories, initiatives and opportunities for engagement. The long-term vision is to evolve iSocialGulf.com into a reliable online destination where Indians in the Gulf can connect, share and celebrate together.

On behalf of the Indian community, the team behind iSocialGulf.com has extended heartfelt gratitude to the Gulf nations for providing a nurturing environment where Indians have been able to thrive, contribute and integrate while preserving their culture and identity.

The team has invited all Indians across the GCC to be part of this journey by engaging with the platform, sharing stories and spreading the word.
