Mangaluru: Blood donation camp held at Srinivas College of Pharmacy

Mangaluru, Sep 12: NSS unit of Srinivas College of Pharmacy in association with Indian Pharmaceutical association, DK District, Mangaluru and Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Mukka, Surathkal organized blood donation camp on September 12. Dr Madhukar Devadiga, blood bank officer, Srinivas Hospital, Mukka, Surathkal inaugurated the blood donation camp and highlighted the importance of Blood donation.

Dr AR Shabaraya principal and director, Srinivas College of Pharmacy in his presidential remarks called the students to donate blood and save life. Dr Kumara Prasad SA, professor, SCP & vice president, IPA Local branch was present during the programme.

On this occasion Savitha K S, technical supervisor, Nireeksha, blood centre tech officer, MBBS interns Dr Likith & Dr Balraj, BSc MLT interns Ashwathi, Lavanya, Varsha & Krishna Priya, Srinivas Hospital, Mukka, Surathkal supervised the programme.

NSS programme officer, Shripathy D & NSS coordinators, Ashoka Shenoy, Gopikrishna U V, Ganesh Raghunath Nayak & Shubhashree coordinated the programme. Volunteers in large number donated the blood and made the camp successful. Sneha & Shriniketh, anchored the programme. Dr Kumara Prasad SA, professor, SCP & vice president, IPA local branch proposed vote of thanks.
