Mumbai, Sep 16: Almost 20 years after its release, the cast of the iconic film Page 3 shared a heartwarming reunion. Bollywood actors Konkona Sen Sharma, Tara Sharma, and Sandhya Mridul, who starred in the critically acclaimed film, were spotted together at an event on September 15. Tara Sharma later took to social media to post a photo with her co-stars, delighting fans with the rare moment.
Sharing the picture, Tara wrote, “We don’t meet often but when we do it’s so special. Our sort of #Page3 reunion. Lots of love KKP @konkona and Zandu Balm @sandymridul and congrats on and thanks for a wonderful event #Untamed @comorin.in. So many inspiring friends I hadn’t met in yonks…” She also added a humorous note about doing her own hair and makeup for the event and gave a shoutout to designer Shruti Sancheti for her outfit.

Released on January 21, 2005, Page 3 was directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and became a landmark in Indian cinema for its unflinching look at the glamorous but morally murky world of celebrity journalism. The story followed Madhavi Sharma (played by Konkona), a young, idealistic journalist navigating the superficial glitz of Mumbai’s high society while confronting the harsh realities of the media industry.
The film struck a chord with audiences and critics alike, going on to become a major commercial success and earning the National Award for Best Feature Film. It was hailed for its bold storytelling, realistic portrayal of journalism, and strong performances by its lead cast.
After the film’s success, Tara Sharma went on to marry businessman Raunak Saluja and eventually took a break from acting to focus on family and entrepreneurial ventures. In contrast, Konkona Sen Sharma and Sandhya Mridul have remained prominent figures in Hindi cinema, known for their nuanced performances and selective, impactful roles.
Director Madhur Bhandarkar, meanwhile, continued his journey as a filmmaker known for socially relevant cinema, following Page 3 with other hard-hitting films like Traffic Signal, Fashion, and Chandni Bar.
The reunion of the film’s leading ladies offered a nostalgic reminder of a movie that reshaped how Bollywood approached themes of media, fame, and truth — a legacy that continues to resonate even two decades later.
