Udupi, Sept 17: Rithanya S. Acharya, the one year and four-month-old daughter of Sudhakar Acharya and Sucheta from Kamalashile in Udupi district, has been conferred the prestigious title of “Super Talented Kid” by the International Book of Records. She has also been recognised with the “One in a Million” award.

Despite her tender age, Rithanya has demonstrated extraordinary cognitive and motor skills that are well beyond her years. She is able to identify 21 species of birds, 28 animals, 15 human body parts, 20 fruits, 10 aquatic creatures, 6 insects, 23 vegetables, and over 65 household items.

Her abilities go beyond recognition—she can fetch 30 different objects, follow verbal instructions, imitate the sounds of more than 8 pet animals, and remarkably, she can climb 35 steps unaided in just 2 minutes and 40 seconds.

Her parents’ dedicated encouragement and support have played a vital role in nurturing her rare talent. This remarkable achievement has drawn widespread appreciation from the local community and well-wishers, who have celebrated her as a true child prodigy.
