Mangaluru police arrest rowdy-sheeter wanted in multiple cases across Karnataka in Bengaluru

Mangaluru, Sep 19: The city police arrested notorious rowdy-sheeter, Najeem alias Najju (30), a resident of Pattulike, Narigana village in Bantwal taluk, who was wanted in several serious cases, including murder, extortion, assault, and NDPS-related offenses.

The accused had multiple cases registered against him in Konaje, Ullal, Mangaluru North, Begur (Bengaluru city), and Bhatkal police stations. After securing bail, he had been absconding for over a year without appearing before the court. Warrants and proclamations were pending against him. Acting on this, police traced and arrested him in Bengaluru city.

The arrest was carried out under the guidance of the deputy commissioner of police (south), with Konaje police station officials Dinesh, Shareef, and Ramesh playing a key role in tracking and apprehending the accused from Bengaluru city.
