Kaup, Sep 22: In a tragic incident in Subhash Nagar near Katapady, a 38-year-old man, reportedly distressed over persistent false allegations, ended his life by recording a video before his death on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Sheikh Abdullah, a resident of Subhash Nagar.

In the video, Sheikh Abdullah named Misal, along with her mother and sister, holding them responsible for the circumstances that drove him to take such a drastic step. The video has since gone viral on social media, drawing widespread attention and concern.

Following the incident, Sheikh Abdullah’s brother lodged a complaint with the Shirva police, stating that the false allegations against his brother were the primary cause of his suicide. The police have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community, highlighting the devastating consequences of harassment and false accusations. Authorities have urged people to refrain from spreading unverified information that could have serious repercussions.
