Panaji, Sep 25: The government will observe Vigilance Awareness Week from October 27 to November 2, focusing on the prevention and eradication of corruption under the national theme, ‘Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility’.
The Directorate of Vigilance stated that all state departments, public sector undertakings, and statutory bodies will be integrated into campaigns to ensure effective observance of the week. Key focus areas will include disposal of pending complaints, capacity-building programmes for stakeholders, asset management, and digital initiatives aimed at systemic reforms.
Additionally, government departments, autonomous bodies, and corporations will conduct outreach and awareness programmes to sensitise the public about the importance of transparency and integrity in governance.
