Mumbai, Sep 30: Just in time for Durga Puja, the makers of the upcoming supernatural thriller "Jatadhara" have turned up the heat with the release of their latest track, "Dhana Pisaach", showcasing Sonakshi Sinha in a fiery new avatar unlike anything audiences have seen before.
The high-octane song, composed by Samira Koppikar and sung by Madhubanti Bagchi, is a powerful blend of rhythm, intensity, and style. With visually arresting choreography and Sonakshi’s commanding screen presence, "Dhana Pisaach" introduces a divine and dangerous energy that captures the spirit of the film’s supernatural theme.
“This track was about embodying the Divine Feminine — power, wrath, grace, and electric energy all at once,” said composer Samira Koppikar. “It was a challenge to musically express that spirit — almost like a Tandav for a modern-day goddess. But it’s been a deeply fulfilling journey, and everyone involved felt that we captured exactly what was envisioned.”

The song’s release comes on the heels of the film’s haunting first track, "Soul of Jatadhara", composed by Rajeev Raj, which opened with evocative Om Namah Shivaya chants. That piece set a spiritually intense tone, combining raw power with mystical depth, drawing audiences deeper into the enigmatic world of "Jatadhara".
Directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, this bilingual thriller stars Sudheer Babu, Sonakshi Sinha, Divya Khossla, Shilpa Shirodkar, Indira Krishna, and Ravi Prakash in key roles. The film explores supernatural forces rooted in ancient mythology, brought to life with slick visuals and a gripping narrative.
Produced under the banner of Zee Studios, the film is backed by Prerna Arora, Shivin Narang, Aruna Agarwal, along with Akshay Kejriwal and Kussum Arora. Divya Vijay serves as creative producer, and Bhavini Goswami as supervising producer.
"Jatadhara" is set to hit theatres on November 7, releasing in both Hindi and Telugu, and promises a genre-bending cinematic experience packed with mysticism, music, and power.
