Goa hit by two deadly road crashes in a single day

Panaji, Oct 1: Goa was rocked by two tragic road accidents on Tuesday that claimed two lives and left others injured. On the Ramnagar–Anmod stretch, a multi vehicle collision involving a bus, truck, tempo and a two-wheeler killed one person instantly, while several others were wounded and rushed to nearby hospitals.

In a separate incident at Sancoale, 70 year old Madhukar Parab, riding pillion on a bike, was crushed beneath a tanker whose driver fled the scene.

Police have filed FIRs in both cases and launched investigations to uncover the circumstances, especially the identity of the absconding tanker driver.
