New Delhi, Oct 24: Delhi Police has arrested two suspected ISIS operatives who were reportedly planning a terror attack in a high-footfall area of the national capital, officials said on Friday.
The suspects, both identified as Adnan and residents of Bhopal, were apprehended following intelligence inputs and a coordinated operation in Delhi’s Sadiq Nagar and Bhopal, a senior police official stated.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the duo had links with ISIS and were in the process of orchestrating a major terror strike in Delhi. Electronic devices and other incriminating materials were seized from their possession, police added.
Authorities said the suspects are currently being interrogated to determine the extent of their network and operational plans. The official confirmed that the arrests have prevented a potential terror attack in the capital.
