Mumbai, Oct 25: The upcoming sequel to the 2012 hit Cocktail has already stirred excitement among fans, especially with its fresh trio of Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna. The team recently wrapped up their schedule in Italy, and the cast’s updates suggest that the shoot was filled with fun and camaraderie.

Rashmika shared her delight about working with her co-stars, saying, “I love Kriti and Shahid. I feel like we’re the best gang together. Homi sir (Homi Adajania), whom we’re working with, is also a joy to collaborate with. It’s such a pleasure to work with all of them. I’m very excited to go back to Delhi to start shooting again.”

She further added, “And every time I’m in a scene with Kriti or Shahid, I’m just enjoying myself. So, I really hope that when this film releases, you’ll feel the same enjoyment and also enjoy it.”

Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 carries forward the legacy of the first film (2012), which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty and was praised for its modern take on love and friendship.

Meanwhile, Rashmika is also celebrating the success of her latest film Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, which has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the box office. Produced under Maddock Films, Thamma is the fifth installment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, following Stree, Roohi, Bhediya, and Munjya. The story follows Ayushmann’s character, who turns into a vampire and falls in love with Rashmika’s character, delivering a “bloody love story” filled with twists.
