Mathura, Oct 27: In a chilling incident in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, a 55-year-old man was allegedly killed by his son and nephew, both minors, after years of reportedly subjecting his minor daughters to sexual abuse and torture.
The deceased has been identified as Pawan Chaudhary, a native of Deeg in Rajasthan, who, according to police, had a criminal history involving robbery, kidnapping and molestation cases.

According to officials, Chaudhary’s daughters, aged 13 and 14 years, had escaped from their home and were staying with their uncle in the Kosikalan area during Diwali to avoid continued abuse. Their brother, who was pursuing his studies, was already living there.
Police said that on Sunday afternoon, Chaudhary arrived at his brother’s residence and tried to forcibly take his daughters back. When the children resisted, he allegedly attacked his son and nephew. In the ensuing struggle, the two boys reportedly overpowered him, snatched his country-made pistol and sword, and killed him.
Superintendent of Police (Rural) Suresh Chandra Rawat said that preliminary investigations suggest that Chaudhary’s daughters were subjected to severe abuse.
“He was a criminal with a record of heinous crimes. His daughters had refused to live with him due to his conduct. Their uncle had tried to enrol them in a hostel for their safety, but Chaudhary forcibly brought them back,” SP Rawat said.
Station House Officer Ajay Kaushal of Kosikalan Police Station said that Chaudhary’s brother, Harishankar, confirmed the children’s statements and revealed that the deceased had earlier served a jail sentence for kidnapping and was also accused of murdering his mother and wife.
A case has been registered based on a complaint by Ramdev, Chaudhary’s uncle. The two minors have been apprehended for questioning. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
Police said further investigation is underway.
