Mangaluru, Oct 27: Fiza by Nexus Mall is hosting ArenaX, the city’s first large-scale mobile and console gaming fest, from October 18 to 30, drawing an overwhelming response from gaming enthusiasts.

The event features popular titles such as BGMI, Free Fire, Clash Royale, E-Football, FIFA, COD, Mortal Kombat and more, creating a vibrant e-sports atmosphere inside the mall.

The biggest highlight so far has been the Free Fire tournament held on October 27, which witnessed a record 120 teams (480 players) competing — a scale unprecedented in Mangaluru’s gaming scene. The atrium was packed with spectators cheering as teams battled it out round after round, giving the event the feel of a professional e-sports arena.

ArenaX is being organised in association with Gamebot (gaming partner) and Nitte Institute of Professional Education (strategic partner), ensuring structured gameplay, professional tournament management, and a platform for young gamers to showcase their skills.

With the massive turnout and growing participation, the organisers are considering making ArenaX an annual gaming festival for Mangaluru.
