Bethany Champion Programme 2025: A celebration of leadership and holistic growth

Mangaluru, Nov 5: The Bethany Champion Programme was successfully hosted at St Raymond’s English Medium School, Vamanjoor, on November 4. The event brought together enthusiastic students from eight Bethany institutions along with their animators.

The programme commenced with a prayer song, setting a reverent tone for the day. This was followed by a symbolic explanation of the Bethany Champion logo, highlighting the values and aspirations embedded in the champion initiative.

Sr Manisha Rodrigues, headmistress of St Raymond’s, extended a warm and inspiring welcome address to the participants.

The inaugural session was graced by Dr Sr Lilly Pereira BS, provincial superior and corporate manager, whose stirring keynote address emphasized perseverance, purpose, and the power of small acts of love, beautifully illustrated through the life of St Thérèse of the Child Jesus.

Sr Cicilia Mendonca, deputy secretary, spoke passionately on the importance of holistic education and character formation, urging students to grow into compassionate and responsible citizens.

Sr Mariolla, the coordinator for education, meticulously planned the entire programme. Her thoughtful guidance motivated the champions to embrace leadership and strive toward holistic growth. She also evaluated the entire programme, ensuring its effectiveness and impact.

Privi D’Souza, the resource person for the day, inspired the young minds to aim high, stay grounded, and remain committed to their goals, reinforcing the champion spirit.

The event was seamlessly compered by Sr Nandita, whose gracious presence and clarity added rhythm and warmth to the proceedings.

The Bethany Champion Programme 2025 was a truly enriching and transformative experience, leaving every champion motivated to lead with integrity and grow with purpose.
