Mumbai, Nov 9: Actor Rajat Bedi, who recently appeared in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut ‘The Ba*ds of Bollywood’**, said that the hardships he faced in life and career have shaped him into a stronger and more refined actor.

After the show’s success, Rajat shared how his struggles in the industry, including losing roles, taught him resilience and helped him evolve as a performer. The actor recalled missing out on a role in the Salman Khan-starrer ‘Radhe’, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

“I got a call from Salman bhai’s office when Radhe was being made. The team wanted me to play a particular character. When Salman bhai saw me on the set, he asked what I was doing there. I told him his office had called me for a role. He said, ‘You are not going to do it. I will give you something better,’” Rajat revealed.

Expressing gratitude, he added, “I was very touched. Thank God he didn’t allow me to do something small or unsuitable for my personality. Later, the pandemic hit, and in December 2022, Aryan’s offer came — that’s when my new journey began.”

Reflecting on his career, Rajat said, “I have faced a lot of hardships, and those real-life experiences have made me a better actor. The pain I’ve gone through, I’ve expressed through my work in the show.”

The actor’s emotional honesty and resilience have resonated with audiences, marking a strong comeback in the entertainment industry.
