Kalyan, Nov 10: A wave of enthusiasm is sweeping across Maharashtra as people increasingly embrace the Shiv Sena’s citizen-centric, development-oriented, and people-friendly approach under the leadership of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Influenced by the party’s dynamic governance, several leaders, office-bearers, and workers from various political parties are joining the Shiv Sena in large numbers—marking yet another setback for the BJP.
In a significant political development, former BJP corporator Vikas Gajanan Mhatre, former BJP corporator Kavita Vikas Mhatre, and former corporator Nandu Dhule-Malvankar from the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) joined the Shiv Sena on Sunday in the presence of Shiv Sena chief leader and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Kalyan Lok Sabha MP Dr Shrikant Eknath Shinde also attended the event and warmly welcomed the new members into the party.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde said, “Shiv Sena is receiving strong support from all sections of society due to the government’s focus on development and direct action on public issues. The party will stand firmly behind every Shiv Sainik in all upcoming elections,” he assured.
Among those present were Bhiwandi Ubatha Contact Head Sainath Tare, Dombivli Bhopargaon Ubatha Division Head Dilkhush Mali, Yuva Sena Coordinator Pankaj Mali, Branch Heads Sagar Patil, Vijay Salvi, and Sandeep Rapase. From the Gandhinagar division, BJP members Akshata Bhosale, Bhavik Mhatre, Rajendra Kharat, Ankush Pinjalakar, Amol Patil, Prakash More, Vijay Dhure, Preeti Acharekar, Urmila Naik, Ravindra Lot, Madhu Karanje, and Swapnil Solim also joined the Shiv Sena by taking up the party’s saffron flag.
All the new members were warmly welcomed into the party and extended best wishes for their future political and social journey.
The event was attended by MP Naresh Mhaske, MLA Rajesh More, District Chief Gopal Landge, Deputy District Chief Rajesh Kadam, Mahesh Gaikwad, along with a large number of local office-bearers and party workers.
