Mangaluru, Nov 10: The cluster-level Pratibha Karanji competition for the high school section of Padavu, Thiruvail, and Bajal-Nanthoor clusters was successfully organized on November 7 at St Agnes High School. The event was jointly conducted under the collaboration of the Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat, department of school education and the office of the block education officer (South Zone, Mangalore) in association with St Agnes High School.
The programme commenced with a formal inaugural ceremony. Rohith Ullal presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. In his message, he emphasized the significance of cultural and art activities in shaping the overall personality of students. He stated that such platforms nurture creativity, confidence, and talent, forming a strong foundation for future achievements. He extended his best wishes to all the participants.



































The event was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including Dr Sr Maria Roopa AC, joint secretary of St Agnes Institutions, Sushma Kini, in-charge Cluster Resource coordinator, Annapurna, education oordinator, Lilly Pais, physical education supervisor, Gretta Menezes, vice president of the Parent Teachers’ Association and Raghunath Bhat, office bearer of the Assistant Teachers’ Association.
The headmistress of the school, Sr Gloria AC welcomed the gathering, setting a warm and encouraging tone for the event. The competitions witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across the clusters, showcasing diverse talents in art, literature, and cultural activities. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by teacher Roopa, acknowledging the efforts of all contributors. The event was efficiently compered by teacher Wilma Vegas.
