Hyderabad, Nov 20: The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has officially cleared director Navaneeth Sriram’s upcoming Telugu romantic comedy ‘Premante’ with a clean U/A certificate, paving the way for its release on November 21. The film stars Priyadarshi Pulikonda and Kayal Anandhi in the lead.
Priyadarshi shared the update on X, writing: “Certified U/A! #Premante is all set to give you the best vibes of Love and Thrills! Bookings open! Grab your tickets now!”
Known for his compelling performances in content-heavy films, Priyadarshi returns to the screen with a fresh and humorous take on love and marriage. Directed by debutant Navaneeth Sriram, the film pairs him with Anandhi, while Suma Kanakala plays a pivotal role.

Produced by Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and Jhanvi Narang under the Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP (SVCLLP) banner, the film is presented by Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media.
The teaser and trailer have already created buzz among audiences. The story follows a newly married couple whose dreamy expectations of a fairy-tale relationship quickly collide with the messy charm of everyday life. Priyadarshi and Anandhi portray a relatable duo navigating playful arguments, misunderstandings, and the chaos of newlywed life. Suma Kanakala’s entry as a police head constable adds an unexpected twist, bringing humour and intrigue as she disrupts the couple’s already chaotic routine.
Director Sriram blends situational comedy with emotional warmth, highlighting the gap between romantic ideals and lived reality. The teaser encapsulates this contrast brilliantly, striking a chord with young couples and families alike.
‘Premante’ also features a strong technical team:
• Cinematography by Vishwanath Reddy, winner of the Gaddar Award for Gaami
• Music by Leon James, known for his hit tracks from Dragon
• Editing by Raghavendra Thirun
• Production design by Aravind Mule
• Dialogues penned by Karthik Thupurani and Rajkumar
With its blend of humour, heart, and relatable conflicts, Premante is set to charm audiences as it hits theatres this week.
