Mumbai, Nov 24: Actor Shraddha Kapoor has officially confirmed that she will team up with her boyfriend, writer-filmmaker Rahul Mody, for an upcoming film—marking their first creative partnership. The revelation came during a fan interaction session, where she addressed growing curiosity about her next lineup of projects.

During the chat, now widely circulating online, Shraddha shared that she has already wrapped filming for one project. However, she added that the makers have yet to reveal it publicly.

“I have already shot for one film. Its official announcement has not yet been made, so I cannot talk much about that. But the announcement will be made very soon,” she said.

First Collaboration With Rahul Mody Confirmed

Shraddha then went on to confirm that her next film will be directed by Rahul Mody. “After that, I am doing Rahul’s film. I can speak about the film without hesitation,” she said, putting months of speculation to rest.

The actress also teased the premise, describing it as a story rooted in the world of start-ups and hustle culture. “For me, it is a new kind of role which is challenging,” she added.

Choosing Roles More Mindfully

Shraddha shared that she has become more selective about her projects. She is now making conscious choices to pick roles that challenge her and allow her to play characters with meaningful impact.

“I am picking films only after thinking about the script, and taking time to decide what type of film I want to do,” she explained.

Shraddha Voices Judy Hopps in ‘Zootopia 2’ (Hindi)

Beyond her upcoming live-action projects, the actress is also lending her voice to the Hindi version of the much-awaited animated sequel Zootopia 2, releasing in India on November 28. She voices the popular character Judy Hopps.

Sharing her excitement online, Shraddha wrote, “She is feisty, courageous, enthu cutlet aur cute toh hai hi… bachpan se…”

Directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, the film follows the Oscar-winning 2016 original and is one of the biggest animated releases of the year.
