India clinches consecutive Kabaddi World Cup Title with win over Chinese Taipei

Dhaka, Nov 24: India’s women’s kabaddi team scripted history once again as they defeated Chinese Taipei 35-28 in a thrilling final to secure their second consecutive Kabaddi World Cup title in Dhaka.

A total of 11 nations had participated in the tournament, with India emerging dominant throughout the competition. The impressive victory sparked nationwide praise, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and several others congratulating the champions for their remarkable achievement.

Team India displayed exceptional form throughout the tournament. In the semifinals, they delivered a commanding performance to defeat Iran 33-21, earning a well-deserved spot in the title clash. Chinese Taipei, on the other hand, advanced to the final after overcoming hosts Bangladesh 25-18 in their semifinal encounter.

With this victory, the Indian women’s team reaffirmed their global supremacy in kabaddi, marking yet another proud moment for the nation.
