Farah Khan’s cook Dilip steals the show again with bigg boss dreams

Mumbai, Nov 28: Farah Khan’s latest YouTube vlog once again saw her longtime cook Dilip taking centre stage with his trademark humour — this time in the company of Bigg Boss contestant Abhishek Bajaj.

As Farah and Dilip prepared to cook thecha chicken, Dilip excitedly revealed his newfound ambition. “When Abhishek will come, I will take some tips from him. I want to go to Bigg Boss as well,” he declared.

The moment Abhishek stepped into the kitchen, Dilip wasted no time. “Sir, please share some tips with me! I too want to give it a shot at Bigg Boss,” he pleaded.

Abhishek taught him his viral “mantra”: “Badhiya banda hud pe, baaki sab thud pe.” Dilip chanted the line with such intensity that he transformed into an “angry young man,” dramatically lifting a stool as if ready to smash it.

A shocked Farah rushed in. “What are you doing, Dilip?” she exclaimed. Abhishek intervened, reminding him, “This is not the Bigg Boss house, this is Farah ma’am’s house! Relax!”

Farah, bewildered, asked Abhishek, “What all have you been teaching him?” After learning that “thud pe” meant “foot,” she warned Dilip, “Dare you ever try this on me, or I will have to use my thud on you!”

While cooking resumed, Farah questioned Dilip again: “All that anger — who were you angry at? Who were you going to hit?” Dilip slyly pointed at Farah. Abhishek, startled, asked, “He was mad at you?” Dilip instantly denied it. “Never, I can never get mad at Farah ma’am!” he insisted.

Farah teased him, “Should I reduce your salary?” Abhishek quipped, “If you do that, maybe then he will get mad at you!”

The conversation then shifted to Abhishek’s acting career. Farah mistakenly thought he featured in Yaariyan 2, but he corrected her, listing Student of the Year 2 and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui as some of his works.

Sharing his journey, Abhishek revealed he initially aspired to become a CBI officer and had no plans of acting. He recounted travelling to Mumbai with his mother when he randomly auditioned for an electronics brand after spotting a Facebook ad — and got selected. “Within six months, I did about 18 TV commercials,” he said, recalling how he earned nearly Rs 2 lakh in his very first month of shooting.

Farah, amused, warned Dilip, “Don’t tell all this in front of him!” She then asked the cook if he wanted to act in ads, and without hesitation, he said, “Yes, I do!”

Abhishek also spoke about his love for movies growing up. “I watched only Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Govinda,” he said. When Farah asked about Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek admitted watching fewer of his films, saying SRK mostly did romantic roles.

Filled with laughter, banter, and Dilip’s infectious energy, the vlog once again proved why Farah’s kitchen remains a favourite spot for fans online.
