Bengaluru, Dec 3: Kannada cinema’s rising star Chaithra Achar, known for her impactful performances in Taledanda, Toby, Saptha Sagaradaache Ello: Side B and Blink, continues to broaden her horizons by stepping into bigger film industries. After marking her Tamil debut with 3BHK alongside Siddharth, the talented actor has now taken a significant leap into Telugu cinema with Fauzi, the much-anticipated period war action drama headlined by Prabhas and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi.
The film also boasts a stellar ensemble featuring Mithun Chakraborty, Jayaprada and Anupam Kher, along with newcomer Imanvi. Chaithra recently joined the sets and expressed her excitement from the filming location, saying that the project has begun on a fascinating note and arrived at a pivotal moment in her career. She shared that being part of a production of such grandeur is a fresh learning experience, especially working alongside Prabhas, which she describes as a dream come true. She added that the scale, craft and meticulous functioning of the team behind Fauzi offers a new creative environment to explore.

Recalling her first interaction with the superstar, Chaithra revealed that Prabhas was already familiar with some of her work, as the director had shown him a few clips. She told him that she is an ardent admirer of his film Mirchi and has watched it over 25 times. Though Prabhas is soft-spoken and shy, she hopes to engage more with him as shooting progresses and the team delves deeper into the film’s narrative.
Meanwhile, Chaithra continues to stay rooted in Kannada cinema as she awaits the release of Maarnami, which is being planned as a multilingual project. She has also signed another Telugu film, with details expected to be officially announced soon. With a dynamic lineup ahead, Chaithra Achar’s journey across industries is gaining momentum, making her one of the most exciting performers to watch out for in the coming years.
