Mangaluru, Dec 10: Yaticorp India Pvt Ltd has launched an upgraded version of AI Shikshak, a WhatsApp-based personal AI teacher designed to help students prepare for board exams with NCERT-aligned, scoring-format explanations available 24×7. The platform is built for learners from class 5 to II PUC following CBSE, NCERT and Karnataka state syllabi.
A key focus of AI Shikshak is to support students who follow different study patterns. While some prefer early-morning preparation, others study late at night—timings when traditional tuition or academic support is rarely available. The platform functions as a round-the-clock teacher, offering instant explanations, repeated clarifications and consistent academic guidance whenever students need it.
AI Shikshak also enables students to revise an entire chapter in under 30 minutes, providing concise summaries, key points and chapterwise question–answer sets. According to the company, quick access to structured answers helps students finish more topics within limited study hours, improving retention and exam readiness. Faster doubt-solving also allows students to cover the entire subject at their own pace, which the company says contributes to improved marks.
Working entirely on WhatsApp, the platform requires no separate app or high-speed internet. A basic mobile phone is sufficient for students to access step-by-step solutions, board-pattern answers, chapter wise notes, MCQs, quizzes and dedicated question banks for SSLC and PUC subjects. Yaticorp says this makes AI Shikshak accessible even for rural and middle-income families.
The company emphasised that AI Shikshak is different from general-purpose AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini and DeepSeek, which often provide broad or out-of-syllabus responses. Such tools, while helpful for general knowledge, may not align with examination requirements. AI Shikshak is programmed to avoid diversions and provide only syllabus-specific, exam-ready explanations written in the scoring format required by boards.
