Chennai, Dec 16: Bollywood dancer-actress Nora Fatehi is set to make a splash in the South with a high-energy dance number alongside superstar Rajinikanth in the upcoming film Jailer 2.

Sources said Nora is currently in Chennai shooting an outdoor, upbeat dance sequence with Rajinikanth. The song, composed by Anirudh Ravichender, is described as a massy South-style number and is being filmed on a grand scale over an eight-day schedule. The track is expected to release with the film in 2026.

Jailer 2, written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is the sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Jailer, which featured the viral hit Kaavaalaa with Tamannaah Bhatia. The sequel was announced in January 2025 and is slated for a theatrical release on June 12, 2026.

The film has also been making headlines with reports of Vidya Balan joining the cast. Meanwhile, Nora Fatehi is set to expand her South cinema presence further, with Kanchana 4 also in the pipeline.
