Mumbai, Dec 18: After three years, the popular web series Four More Shots Please! is returning with its fourth and final season, set to premiere on Prime Video on December 19. Fans are preparing for one last ride with Damini, Anjana, Siddhi, and Umang, while the cast faces the emotional reality of bidding goodbye to characters they have lived with for years.
In an exclusive chat, Maanvi Gagroo, who plays Siddhi, revealed the emotional weight of the finale. “On the last day of the shoot, it suddenly hit me — I will never play Siddhi again. We were laughing and crying during the final scene. It was very emotional,” she shared.
Siddhi’s journey has been one of self-love and personal growth. “She learns to accept herself, discovers her ambitions, and grows through her relationships with Mihir and the girls. Playing Siddhi even had a subliminal impact on me, helping me gain confidence and embrace myself fully,” Maanvi added.
The final season promises a sense of closure, bringing the characters’ arcs full circle. Maanvi emphasized, “We want to end on a high where viewers are happy with the journey, even if they wish for more of these girls.”
The camaraderie among the four leads has been a defining feature of the show. Maanvi spoke warmly about her co-stars: “With Kirti, it’s a friend and elder sister vibe. With Sayani, it’s peer-to-peer. Bani is very protective. Our bond extends beyond the set — we’ve grown together like a family over eight years.”
The journey to Season 4 wasn’t straightforward. Maanvi revealed that after Season 3 ended on a cliffhanger, the team had almost given up hope. “Around this time last year, the makers said they were planning a finale season. We were ecstatic,” she said.
Despite facing criticism and negativity on social media over the years, Maanvi maintains a positive outlook. “For every negative comment, we get ten positive ones. I don’t engage with abusive messages — I delete them and focus on the good feedback,” she explained.
Reflecting on her career, Maanvi credits Four More Shots Please! for expanding her reach as an actor. “Siddhi is cute and bubbly, but she has layers. This role allowed me to connect with a much larger audience,” she said.
As the show prepares to take its final bow, Siddhi and her girls leave behind a legacy of friendship, flaws, and fierce self-love that will remain etched in viewers’ hearts.
