Mangalore: Cricket Tourney Held in Memory of Late Hazell Antony D'Souza

Mangalore, Feb 21: In memory of Late Hazell Antony D'Souza's, the youth of Milagres and other parishioners organized an inter-parish open to all over arm cricket match on Sunday February 19 which will be carried on till March 4.

A total number of 34 teams from all over Dakshina Kannada district participated in the tournament. A total of 18 matches were held on Sunday and the rest will be continued on February 26. 

The tournament was interrogated By PV Mohan, member of all India congress committee, owner of Karavali cricket Academy and syndicate member of Mangalore University and Fr Walter D'Mello, parish priest of Milagres church.

The final match will be on live telecast on  Namma TV and. The wining team will be rewarded with Rs 15,000 and the runners up will recieve a cash prize of Rs 10,000 along with the trophy.

The whole match was sponsored by Harold D'Souza and family.
