Hyderabad, Dec 19: The team behind director Srikanth Odela’s much-anticipated action film The Paradise, starring Telugu star Nani, has unveiled a new character from the movie. On Friday, it was revealed that actor Sampoornesh Babu will be seen playing a character intriguingly named ‘Biryani’.
Sharing the first-look poster on social media platform X, Nani introduced the character with a light-hearted note, writing, “Sampoo as BIRYANI :) #TheParadise,” while tagging Sampoornesh Babu.
The poster presents Sampoornesh Babu in a gritty avatar, holding a beedi in one hand and a weapon in the other. His intense expression, coupled with blood-stained hands, hints at a dark and violent role, marking a striking departure from his usual on-screen image.

The Paradise has been generating strong buzz among audiences, with fans expecting another visually powerful and narratively bold film from Srikanth Odela. The director made a strong impression with his debut film Dasara, which starred Nani and went on to earn critical acclaim and cross the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office. Prior to that, Odela had worked as an assistant director to Sukumar on films like Nannaku Prematho and Rangasthalam.
This film marks the second collaboration between Odela and Nani, further raising expectations. Adding to the star power, Bollywood actor Raghav Juyal is also part of the project. While the makers have not officially revealed his role, industry sources suggest that he will portray the film’s antagonist. Raghav Juyal has also confirmed that he will undergo a significant makeover for the role.
Music for the film is being composed by popular composer Anirudh Ravichander, adding to the film’s high-profile technical lineup. The project is being produced on a grand scale by SLV Cinemas.
The Paradise is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 26, 2026, and will have a wide multilingual release in eight languages — Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English, and Spanish — aiming for a global audience.
