Bengaluru, Dec 21: Telugu film Andhra King Taluka, starring Ram Pothineni and Bhagyashri Borse, is all set to make its digital debut after completing its theatrical run. The film, which hit cinemas on November 27, received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike, though its box office performance remained moderate.
The makers have announced that Andhra King Taluka will begin streaming on Netflix from November 25, 2025. Netflix India South confirmed the release through a social media post, describing the film as a “fan biopic” rather than the usual star-centric narratives. The movie will be available in its original Telugu version along with dubbed versions in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.

Directed by Mahesh Babu P, the film features Ram Pothineni as Sagar, a devoted fan of cinema superstar Surya, portrayed by Kannada actor Upendra. Bhagyashri Borse plays Mahalaxmi, Sagar’s love interest. The story revolves around Surya’s struggle to arrange Rs 3 crore to complete his landmark 100th film, and how his ardent fan Sagar comes to his aid by secretly depositing the amount into the actor’s bank account. Intrigued to know the identity of this generous admirer, Surya decides to meet him, leading to an emotional and engaging narrative celebrating fandom.
The film also stars Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Rahul Ramakrishna, Sindhu Tolani and others in key roles. Music for the movie has been composed by Vivek-Mervin.
As per trade analyst Sacnilk, Andhra King Taluka collected over Rs 23.49 crore at the domestic box office and went on to earn around Rs 32.43 crore worldwide.
With its OTT release, the film is expected to reach a wider audience and find renewed appreciation among fans of feel-good cinema.
