Mumbai, Dec 29: Actor Arshad Warsi has shared candid insights into the contrasting personalities of Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, calling their off-screen temperaments as iconic as their on-screen stardom.
In a conversation with Lallantop, Arshad spoke glowingly about Shah Rukh Khan, revealing that he agreed to be part of King within seconds. Describing SRK as an “old-school theatre actor,” Arshad said the superstar is extremely prepared, polite and generous on set. “He has all the lines in his mind, never raises his voice, and carries himself with a lot of dignity. I am very fond of him and a big fan,” he said, adding that Shah Rukh’s children, Suhana and Aryan, have also been brought up very well.

Arshad further echoed Shah Rukh Khan’s own belief that he is “the last of the stars,” saying he completely agrees with that sentiment.
Talking about Salman Khan, Arshad described him as the quintessential “good-looking bad boy,” contrasting him with Shah Rukh’s gentlemanly and sophisticated persona. “There’s nothing wrong with either,” he said, explaining that Salman’s public aura is very different from his private self. “At home, he’s funny, cracks a lot of jokes, and his entire family has a great sense of humour. They live life with a lot of fun,” Arshad added.
Arshad Warsi will soon be seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan in King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The action drama also stars Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Jaideep Ahlawat and is expected to hit theatres in 2026. He also has Welcome To The Jungle lined up, featuring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty, slated for a 2026 release.
Salman Khan, meanwhile, is preparing for Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film, based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops, also stars Chitrangada Singh and is scheduled for release in 2026.
