Samantha Ruth Prabhu unveils fierce first look of Telugu comeback film ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’

Mumbai, Jan 7: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to make a powerful return to Telugu cinema with her upcoming film Maa Inti Bangaram. Heightening anticipation around the project, the makers on Tuesday released the film’s striking first-look poster, directed by BV Nandini Reddy.

The poster features Samantha standing inside a bus, clad in a simple brown saree, with a steely, confrontational gaze that hints at the film’s intense tone. The raw energy in her expression suggests a character ready to fight back, setting the stage for a gritty, action-driven narrative.

Sharing the first look with her followers on Instagram, Samantha wrote, “You just keep watching... #MaaIntiBangaaram will be connecting with y’all.” She also announced that the teaser trailer of the film will be released on January 9 at 10 am.

The film’s shooting has already been completed. Notably, Maa Inti Bangaram marks one of the most physically demanding roles of Samantha’s career, as she has performed the majority of the action sequences herself — many of them while wearing a saree.

A source close to the project revealed that after her action-packed roles in The Family Man and Citadel, Samantha was keen to push her limits further. “This film demands intense physicality. Samantha doing most of the action herself, and that too in a saree, makes it visually striking and unlike anything audiences have seen from her before,” the source said.

Maa Inti Bangaram is produced under Samantha’s own banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, in association with Raj Nidimoru and Himank Duvurruu. Raj Nidimoru is also creatively involved in shaping the project.

Producer Himank Duvvuru described the film as an emotionally grounded story told on a grand action canvas. “The film blends strong values with the energy of a full-scale action spectacle. Samantha embracing such a challenging role adds a rare authenticity. We brought in world-class technicians to give the film a global finish while keeping its soul deeply Indian,” he said.

With its compelling first look and Samantha’s transformation into a fierce action-led role, Maa Inti Bangaram is quickly emerging as one of the most awaited Telugu films of the year.
