Hyderabad, Jan 10: Superstar Allu Arjun marked his father Allu Aravind’s 77th birthday with a deeply personal and emotional message, describing the veteran film producer as “the closest thing to God” in his life.

Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a photograph with his father, the duo posing together at the newly launched Allu Cinemas. Alongside the image, Arjun penned a heartfelt note that read, “Happy Birthday, Dad. The closest thing to God in my life. May you always live joyfully,” ending the message with a black heart emoji.

Allu Aravind, founder of the prestigious Geetha Arts banner, is widely regarded as one of the most influential and successful producers in South Indian cinema. Over the decades, he has backed several landmark films across languages, including Subhalekha, Pasivadi Pranam, Attaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu, Ghajini, Magadheera, Jalsa, Sarrainodu, and Ala Vaikuntapuramulo, among many others, shaping modern commercial cinema.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun continues to enjoy massive success on the professional front. He was last seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar, which followed the journey of Pushpa Raj, a labourer-turned-red sandalwood smuggler battling escalating threats, including SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. The film, starring Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil and Rao Ramesh, is among the most expensive and longest Indian films ever made.

Looking ahead, Arjun is set to reunite with director Trivikram for a large-scale mythological epic, marking their fourth collaboration. The project is expected to go on floors in February 2027. He is also confirmed to return for Pushpa 3, once again under Sukumar’s direction.

In addition, the actor is working on a highly anticipated film with director Atlee, tentatively titled AA22 X A6, which will also feature Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, further expanding his pan-Indian presence.
