Bengaluru, Jan 22: Priyanka Achar, fondly known as ‘Mahanati’ and who won the hearts of Kannada audiences with the film Elumale produced by Tarun Sudhir, has landed another promising opportunity in her acting career.
A native of Mysuru, Priyanka nurtured dreams of becoming an actress from a young age. She rose to fame after emerging as the winner of the reality show Mahanati. Recognising her talent, Tarun Sudhir cast her in Elumale, giving her a strong platform in Kannada cinema.

Following her impressive performance in Elumale, Priyanka Achar is now set to headline her second film. She has been selected as the female lead in the debut directorial venture of Kiran Vishwanath, who is part of Kiccha Sudeep’s close professional circle.
Kiran Vishwanath has previously worked as a co-director on several Kiccha Sudeep films, including Ranna and Victory. This marks his first outing as a director, with Priyanka playing the lead role.
Details about the film’s male lead are expected to be announced in the coming days, with the makers reportedly planning a grand reveal.
