Mangaluru, Jan 26: The trailer of the Tulu film Non Veg, directed by K Sooraj Shetty and produced by Prakash Pandeshwar under the Jayakirana Films banner, was released on Friday evening on the Jayakirana Films YouTube channel.

Made entirely with coastal talent, Non Veg presents a fresh and unconventional storyline rooted in a strong social message. The film explores the idea that certain aspects of life often viewed as unpleasant or impure are, in fact, natural and inevitable, using humour as the primary narrative tool.

Several artistes who appeared in Su From So are part of this film as well. The cast includes Prakash Tuminadu, Pushparaj Bollaru of Bandaro Bandru Bava Bandru fame, Deepak Rai Panaje, Mime Ramdas, Vismaya Vinayak and Roopa Varkady. Television actress Sanjana Burli, known for her role in the serial Puttakkana Makkalu, plays the female lead, while Kuseldarase Naveen D Padil features in a key role.

Atharva Prakash, who has acted in multiple Tulu and Kannada films and is considered a promising young actor, also plays an important role in the film.

According to the film team, Non Veg offers a balanced mix of humour, entertainment and a meaningful message without compromising on any aspect. The story revolves around an innocent youth in pursuit of love, making it relatable to the younger generation. At the same time, the makers describe it as a family-friendly film that parents can watch along with their children.

A notable aspect of Non Veg is that its message is conveyed entirely through humour, while effectively capturing the confusion, curiosity and emotional struggles of today’s youth in an engaging manner.

The film is scheduled for release across coastal districts on February 6.
