Chennai, Feb 1: Director Raju Murugan’s highly anticipated family entertainer My Lord, starring Sasikumar and Chaithra J Achar, is set to hit theaters globally on February 13, the makers announced on Sunday.
Produced by Jayanthi Ambethkumar under Olympia Movies, the film promises “a powerful mix of politics, emotions, and fun,” according to the production house’s social media post. Tamil Nadu and Kerala releases will be handled by Sri Kumaran Films.
Co-directed by Arunmozhi Pandian, My Lord is a satirical drama addressing the exploitation of the poor and underprivileged. The recently released trailer suggests the story delves into the pressing issue of kidney racketeering, a significant societal concern in India.

The ensemble cast also features Asha Sharath, Guru Somasundaram, Jayaprakash, Gopi Nainar, and Vasumithra. Technically, the film boasts top-tier talent, with Nirav Shah handling cinematography, Sathyaraj Natarajan on editing, and Muni Paulraj leading art direction. Action sequences are choreographed by P.C. Stunts, while dance numbers are by Sherif.
Renowned music director Sean Roldan, who composed the soundtrack, expressed his excitement on social media, stating that the score was created “from the heart” and complements the film’s emotional and political narrative.
With its mix of satire, social commentary, and entertainment, My Lord is shaping up to be one of the most awaited Tamil releases this year.
