Mumbai, Feb 5: The second season of the popular police procedural series Dahaad, starring Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Devaiah, Vijay Varma and Sohum Shah, has gone back on floors, with filming scheduled to resume in Rajasthan later this month.
Created by filmmakers Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, the makers have reportedly finalised the script after an extended writing phase. The series has been in pre-production for several months, and preparations are now complete for the next leg of shooting.

Rajasthan, which played a pivotal role in establishing the gritty tone and narrative landscape of the first season, will once again serve as a key backdrop. Sources indicate that the new season is being mounted on a larger scale, buoyed by the strong critical acclaim and audience response to the debut season.
Dahaad marked Sonakshi Sinha’s OTT debut and was widely praised for its performances, storytelling and realistic portrayal of law enforcement challenges in rural India. Expectations are high for the upcoming season as the team aims to build on the success of the first installment.
