Media Release

Mangaluru, Feb 10: Colours Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm by the kindergarten students of Carmel Central School, Kotekar on February 9. Each class was assigned a specific colour such as red, pink, blue, yellow, and more. Students and teachers came dressed in their respective colours, transforming the campus into a vibrant and cheerful sight.

The activity room was beautifully decorated with balloons and colourful embellishments. Children brought toys matching their class colour, which were neatly displayed, creating a lively and attractive environment. Class notice boards were creatively designed to reflect the assigned colours, and various colour-based activities were conducted.

The little ones joyfully sang songs and participated in fun-filled activities, making the learning experience engaging and enjoyable. The celebration helped children enhance colour recognition, build confidence, and learn through play.

The programme concluded with a meaningful message by the principal, Sr Pramila, and the administrator, Sr Julie Ann, encouraging the children to appreciate the beauty of colours in nature and everyday life.

It was truly a colourful and memorable day for all our young learners.
