KEA kicks off UGCET-2025 options entry; mock allotment slated for July 19

Bengaluru, Feb 14: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has begun the first round of options entry for UGCET-2025 admissions to engineering, veterinary, agriculture, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Allied Health Sciences (AHS) programmes. Candidates can submit their preferences through the official portal until July 15.

Option entry for medical, dental, ayurveda, homoeopathy, unani, BSc Nursing, architecture and naturopathy courses, however, will commence only after the release of the respective seat matrices by the departments concerned, KEA Executive Director H Prasanna said.

Mock allotment results will be declared on July 19. Students will be permitted to revise their options until July 22, with the final allotment results scheduled to be announced on July 25.

The KEA has urged candidates to carefully go through the UGCET-2025 seat allotment information brochure and adhere strictly to the prescribed order of preferences while entering options. Instructional videos explaining the process are also available on the KEA Vikasana YouTube channel.

Candidates who have secured practical ranks in veterinary, agriculture and animal husbandry streams are required to enter options separately for both regular and practical quota seats.

Admissions to medical and allied courses will be conducted in accordance with the regulations laid down by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and the State Medical Education Department.
