Hailey Bieber opens up about fame, motherhood, and collaborating with Justin

Los Angeles, Feb 20: Model Hailey Bieber has described fame as “mentally exhausting,” admitting that being in the spotlight can make it difficult to maintain perspective.

Speaking on the Therapuss with Jake Shane podcast, the 29-year-old shared, “‘What the f*** did I ever do to you?’—but multiplied by a million people. You get caught up in constantly trying to prove yourself.” She added that she has since stopped trying to justify her actions to others. “I’ve realised there’s no amount of explaining yourself. It really doesn’t make a difference at all,” she said, according to Female First UK.

Hailey also opened up about balancing her career, marriage, and motherhood. She and pop star Justin Bieber, who married in 2018, have a 17-month-old son, Jack, and find ways to share responsibilities. Speaking at Vogue’s Forces of Fashion event in Australia, Hailey said, “Having a great partner is really important. I’m here working, and my son is at home with his dad living his best life. That support makes decisions a little easier.”

The model and entrepreneur, founder and CCO of the Rhode skincare brand, also expressed excitement about collaborating with Justin. “We don’t think of it as work. We look at it as, ‘How fun is it that we can do the things we’re passionate about together?’ We both love things that feel effortless and seamless,” she said.
