‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ locks runtime ahead of March 19 release

Hyderabad, Mar 12: The much-awaited Tollywood film Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan, has completed its censor formalities ahead of its theatrical release scheduled for March 19.

Directed by Harish Shankar, the film marks the second collaboration between the actor and director after the blockbuster Gabbar Singh.

According to reports, the film’s final runtime has been locked at 154 minutes (2 hours and 34 minutes). The first half runs for 1 hour and 11 minutes, while the second half is slightly longer with a duration of 1 hour and 23 minutes.

Industry observers often say that the final impact of a film largely depends on its second half, and the longer latter portion suggests that the makers may have reserved key sequences for the concluding part of the film.

Actors Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna play the female leads in the film. The movie is produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
