Los Angeles, Mar 16: American rapper Kanye West has postponed his upcoming concert in New Delhi, rescheduling the event to May 23, 2026.
The announcement was made on Monday through the artist’s Instagram account, where he informed fans that the change was prompted by ongoing geopolitical tensions affecting international travel and safety.
In his message, West said the decision was taken with the safety of fans, the artist, and the production crew in mind.

“Due to the prevailing geopolitical situation and regional tensions, the Ye show in New Delhi will now be rescheduled to May 23, 2026.
The safety of our fans traveling internationally, as well as that of the artist and the production team, remains our top priority. All tickets remain valid for the new date,” the rapper wrote, thanking fans for their understanding and continued support.
The postponement comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East following military strikes involving the United States and Israel against Iran. Reports indicate that the conflict escalated significantly after an attack that killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Israel described the operation as a pre-emptive move aimed at halting Iran’s nuclear advancement.
Following the initial strikes, Iran reportedly intensified its military response, targeting US bases across the Middle East and launching attacks toward Tel Aviv, including the use of hypersonic missiles that challenged Israel’s well-known Iron Dome defense network.
Meanwhile, West is preparing for the release of his upcoming studio album Bully, expected in 2026. The album rollout includes a major one-night concert scheduled for April 3, 2026, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
The rapper is also set to headline the Hellwatt Festival on July 18, 2026, at RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia, marking one of his major live performances in Europe next year.
