Women’s Day celebrated with ‘Vittal Deanery Women’s Association’ programme at Peruvai

Bantwal, Mar 21: As part of International Women’s Day celebrations, a grand programme of the Vittal Deanery Women’s Association was held on March 19, at the hall of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Peruvai.

On the occasion, a special Holy Mass was offered for all women at Fatima Church by Vittal deanery priest Fr Ivan Michael Rodrigues, Shambur Church priest Fr Santosh D’Souza, Delanthabettu Church priest Fr Richard D’Souza, Peruvai church priest Fr Simon D’Souza, and Salethur Church priest Fr Manoj Furtado.

Following this, during the formal programme, along with the priests, DCCW president of Mangalore diocese Greta Pinto, Women’s Commission secretary Anita Frank, Manela Women’s Association president Suchitha D’Souza, Peruvai Church vice-president Denis Monteiro, secretary Vincent D’Souza, and commission coordinator Rolf D’Souza were present.

The clergy of the Vittal deanery and chief guests conveyed their greetings and shared insights on the status and rights of women. The programme was conducted smoothly under the leadership of deanery president Prafulla Janet D’Cruz and secretary Reshma D’Souza.
