‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ collections dip amid clash with ‘Dhurandhar 2’

Hyderabad, Mar 24: Pawan Kalyan’s latest outing Ustaad Bhagat Singh has witnessed a dip in box office collections following its clash with Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, impacting its overall performance.

According to trade reports, the film is currently running across 611 shows, with gross collections in India standing at Rs 73.40 crore and net collections at Rs 62.30 crore so far. Final figures are yet to be reported.

The film, directed by Harish Shankar, is a Telugu action-comedy featuring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. The cast also includes Sreeleela, Raashii Khanna, R. Parthiban, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, BS Avinash, Gautami and Chammak Chandra in supporting roles.

Originally announced as Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh in 2021, the film was later retitled in 2022. It marks the second collaboration between Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar after the 2012 hit Gabbar Singh.

Pawan Kalyan’s previous releases include Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which earned Rs 113.85 crore, and They Call Him OG, which reportedly grossed between Rs 293.65 crore and Rs 300 crore at the box office.
