Ayodhya, Apr 13: Pranay Mittal achieved success in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination 2024, the final results of which were announced in 2025. He secured All India Rank (AIR) 85 and was selected for the Indian Police Service (IPS), accomplishing this feat in his third attempt.

Pranay Mittal is the son of Neeraj Kumar, divisional head at Punjab National Bank in Ayodhya. He prepared for the examination while staying in Ayodhya district and achieved success through dedicated efforts. Originally hailing from Saharanpur, he credited his achievement to his parents and teachers. His success has brought immense joy to his family members and relatives.

Pranay Mittal secured AIR 85 in UPSC 2024 after a remarkable five-year journey marked by persistence, self-belief, and learning from failures. An engineer by training, a NET JRF holder, and a patent holder, he had every reason to settle into a secure and successful career. However, he chose to pursue the challenging path of UPSC preparation, approaching it with structure, clarity, and the courage to adapt and improve whenever required.
