Mumbai, Apr 14: Advance bookings for the upcoming Hindi horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla have officially commenced, generating strong momentum ahead of its theatrical release on April 16. Headlined by Akshay Kumar, the film is already witnessing encouraging response, particularly across major urban centres.
A key highlight of the project is the reunion of Akshay Kumar with filmmaker Priyadarshan after a gap of 16 years. The duo, known for delivering popular comedy entertainers, last collaborated on Khatta Meetha, and their return has sparked nostalgia among fans.

The makers have also planned paid preview shows starting from 9 pm on April 16, a move expected to boost early word-of-mouth. Akshay Kumar, sharing the update on social media, expressed excitement and urged audiences to book tickets in advance.
Certified U/A 16+ by the Central Board of Film Certification, the film has a runtime of 164.52 minutes and promises a mix of humour, chaos, and supernatural elements. While the storyline remains under wraps, promotional content hints at a quirky narrative set in a haunted backdrop.
The film features an ensemble cast including Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu and Wamiqa Gabbi. Backed by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Cape of Good Films, the film is produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor.
With steady booking trends and rising audience curiosity, Bhooth Bangla is poised for a promising opening at the box office this week.
